DOLCEACQUA | RETREAT B&B | 2021

Conceived as a productive and restorative landscape, the project is located in Dolceacqua, Liguria, Italy, and integrates an organic farm, orchards and hospitality spaces within a 3,000 sqm garden. The planting scheme includes heritage fruit tree varieties traditionally grown in Liguria, selected to enhance local biodiversity and reinforce the agricultural identity of the site. An infinity pool and an underground yoga room create spaces dedicated to well-being and contemplation, while the landscape design strengthens the relationship between the B&B, the spa and the surrounding natural environment.

COUNTRY TERRACE
private residence | 2020

The design of the outdoor spaces extends the living area of the country house through a bioclimatic pergola, conceived as a transitional space between the interior and the garden. Its adjustable louvres regulate solar exposure and promote natural ventilation, improving comfort throughout the seasons. Directly connected to the dining room and kitchen, the patio creates spatial continuity with the courtyard and provides a sheltered area for relaxation and socialising.

PERGOLA & POOL
private residence | 2020

A garden designed to provide a relaxing space fully immersed in nature. A modular pergola defines a sheltered area for rest, while a continuous mineral-paved surface frames the pool edge and organises the different spaces. Layered side planting beds articulate the changes in level and create separation from the surrounding context. Accessed by an internal stepped entrance, the swimming pool extends longitudinally, opening up views towards the surrounding landscape.

SECRET GARDEN | PATIO TERRACE | 2021

The project redevelops a private terrace within a residential complex overlooking the sea in Latte, Ventimiglia, Italy, transforming it into a green and welcoming outdoor space. Plant species were specifically selected for the coastal climate, favouring Mediterranean varieties resistant to sun and salt exposure and requiring limited maintenance.

MEDITERRANEAN GARDEN
private residence | 2021

Preliminary landscape design for a private holiday residence in Spotorno, Liguria, Italy, conceived as a low-maintenance garden. The project combines climate-adapted planting, functional outdoor spaces and carefully selected materials to create a welcoming landscape that remains attractive throughout the year while requiring limited maintenance.

XERISCAPE | case study | 2019

A dry garden is a low-maintenance landscape designed to require minimal irrigation, with additional watering needed only during prolonged periods of drought. Plant selection varies according to climate and soil conditions, ranging from Mediterranean species and aromatic plants to succulents and cacti, all chosen for their resistance to sun, heat and challenging climatic conditions.
